Here is a special invitation for our Future Search Network, Learning Exchange: September 24, 2026, 2pm - 4pm ET.
Background: We have been talking about Whole-System Development and sharing the new essay with you (link below). Now we want to have a different kind of conversation.
For more than 30 years, Future Search has given us a powerful way to get the whole system in the room to learn, find Common Ground, and act. We still believe deeply in the Future Search method. What we are seeing now is that Whole-System Development gives us language for something larger that has been underneath this work all along:
Human systems can develop the capacity to do together what they could not do before, despite differences that still exist – and that matters right now.
Many of you are already helping systems learn across boundaries. Many of you are using Future Search principles and Future Search method. Whole-System Development may give us a larger frame for understanding, describing, and offering that work.
Purpose for September 24th’s gathering:
We want to explore how this connects with your own work, and how Whole-System Development gives us a stronger way to talk about what we bring to the world. Our experience is that people’s responses are amazing. It is hitting a spot. Come share at the excitement. It expands our work and we have lots of work to do.
