Hi everyone
A quick reminder of our Pop-Up learning Exchange that is happening tomorrow on Whole-System Development. The subject is the JABS article that Sandra wrote, pulling together all the strands of Future Search and P10 / Don’t Just Do Something into a framing around the understanding that our work is fundamentally about Development – growing the system’s capacity to do what it could not do before. This is achieved through differentiation and integration – finding and bringing forward the important differences and then holding those differences while discovering Common Ground as integration . This, we know, is an on-going process of discovery and the better a group of people master these skills, the more effective they become over time.
Whole-System Development is exciting because it holds a very accessible framing of the work we do with groups that underlines that this is not about techniques but about creating and maintaining the conditions for a system to grow developmentally. Future Search is a perfect embodiment of Whole-System Development, but other approaches and ways of working can be congruent.
There are only a few spaces left for the session tomorrow. You can sign up here.
