On 28 July Sandra gave a keynote address to the Organization Development and Change Division of the Academy of Management in Copenhagen. Here’s a link to the take she gave. In the talk she highlighted the connection between theory and practice and how Future Search emerged from a tradition of action research. We carry that on in our work because it is very clear that the paradigm of Everybody Improving Whole Systems has still not become mainstream. Fragmented ways of working and a focus on interpersonal approaches continues to dominate the way we work with groups across industries and countries. There is so much to be achieved from working toward wholeness, so we have much work to do to show the world its necessity and its possibility.
