Intros and Conversations

This is the Topic thread to have general conversations and to introduce yourself to other FSN members.

I see we have to get used to this enviroment. As an introduction, I am a FS practioner since November 2007. I met Sandra and Marv in Jo’burg, South-Africa, at the fabulous Learning Exchange. I followed the workshop ā€˜Leading meetings that matter’ and the experience stayed in my heart and head since then. I am a facilitator, consultant, trainer, researcher, author in the field of participatory action research and whole systems change. Based in the Netherlands, living in a very satisfying bungalow with forest view. Together with my husband we have 6 children, 11 grandchildren and the 12th on his way. Never a dull moment .

Kia ora koutou / Hi everyone. As an introduction, I am based in Aotearoa/New Zealand. I was introduced to Future Search back in the 1990s when I was training in Neuro Linguistic Programming. I was intrigued at what sounded like very clever collective change. So I headed to the States in 1999 and did the amazing Managing a FS training with Marv and Sandra. Since then, I have been involved in and facilitated a few Future Searches here in Aotearoa. I am particularly interested in co-facilitating the FS in this country with the indigenous people, Māori. I live in a gorgeous part of the country surrounded by native forest. My Irish husband and I have three incredible young adults who are inspiring us to keep learning every day.
